A Royal Love Affair

A Royal Love Affair

Marriage is a sacred bond shared between two lovers.

It is a word that has lost its beautiful meaning as time has elapsed.

He stands in front her. Holding her hand in his he gazes into her brown eyes. Searching for her heart he instead becomes lost in her soul. It has been 2 years since he first laid eyes on her sitting in a field of blossomed Morning Glories. It was as if she was pulled right from a page from one of those enchanted fairytales. The rays of the sun beamed onto her skin so perfectly. The cool morning spring breeze rustled her long wavy black strands of hair. Her nose was deep in an old tattered book unawares of his presence. Quietly trying not to disturb her from her place the King tip—toed into the field. He stopped under a big oak tree a few paces from her and continued his observations of the beautiful young creature.

(The scene shifts from the King. We now are in the glorious home of the King and Queen.)

Upstairs on the East side of the palace is the Queen’s bedroom. Standing wrapped in her night towel leaning up on her window pane she looks over out into the kingdom. The marketplace is slowly filling up with the common workers. The baker has started baking his goods as the chimney lets out the sweet mouth-watering aroma of cinnamon rolls. The seamstress is making her way to her shop with a basket full of thread while a young woman carrying a tattered book and a handful of flowers is seen coming out of an alley around the corner looking disheveled. Holding back displeasing expression the Queen looks over shoulder towards her bed. Her late night visitor is still lying there peacefully under the comforter. The morning sun is shining right on his face exemplifying his magnificent features. His eyes remained close, but the queen couldn’t refrain herself. Images from the night flashed into her mind. His scruffy brown beard rubbed against her breasts. Holding his head in her arms as he pulled her in closer with his strong hands she whispered a moan in his ear. Seeing him rustle around brought her majesty back to the present. His thick brows rose causing his forehead to crinkle. Lifting his hands out from the blanket he rubs his face and lets out a rusty grunt. The Queen makes her way to him taking a place at the edge of the bed near enough to caress his face. His eyelids open revealing his stormy blue eyes. He looks at her and grins. Leaning towards him she places her lips on his. They are just how she remembered soft and luscious.

(The scene shifts from the two love-birds to the young woman in the marketplace)

Rushing into the shop short of breathe with beads of sweat emerging from her forehead Sara sits and takes her place on the stool behind the store. She could feel Ms. Victoria’s glare. The hairs on her neck prickled. “You’re late again. This is now three days in a row Sara. I cannot have my customers believe that I accept such laziness!” she scoffed. My apologies, I lost track of time. It won’t happen again Ma’am. “You were in the fields again?” she asked inquisitively. Ms. Victoria wasn’t normally as shrewd, but with the Queen’s Ball arriving she was more agitated these days however it didn’t stop their relations outside of work. “Yes. It was a beautiful morning! The Glories were in bloom and the warmth of the sunrise tempered the spring chill.” Ms. Victoria looked at the young woman and smiled. It wasn’t long ago that she was Sara lost within nature and full of youth. The only difference was that she wasn’t as dreamy as Sara seems to be.

Blinded

Look around you,

What do you see?

Look around you,

What do you see?

Young men and women who are no longer free,

Young men and women afraid to dream,

Afraid to go out and explore,

Afraid to open up Life’s magnificent door,

Rather, they sit still in complete utter silence,

Participating in the games of chaos and violence.

Look around you,

What do you see?

Look around you,

What do you see?

Social media is now on the rise,

Social media now a tool of disguise,

It’s now a weapon of mass destruction

Little do they know of its corruption?

Sitting all day on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter,

Giving a synopsis of their life in a 140 character letter.

Look around you,

What do you see?

Look around you

What do you see?

A daily routine from 9-5,

A daily routine of losing young one’s mind,

They seek pills of possession

They seek the drugs in their adolescence,

Not a care in the world if they are dead or alive

Intoxicated off on cloud nine,

Look around you,

What do you see?

Look around you,

What do you see?

Living their life according to what they watch on TV,

Starting to lose sight on what it is they should believe,

No longer putting a nose to a book

All they care about is how Snookie and J Wow look?

Keeping up with the Kardashian and The Jersey Shore,

16 &Pregnant and The Bad Girls Club these are the shows that they adore?

Look around you,

What do you see?

Look around you,

What do you see?

Girls aspiring to be ‘Bad Bitches’

Boys dropping loyalty and becoming snitches

Headphones on over their ears…“Living Young, Wild, and Free”,

Not guarding their minds to what they hear,

They continue to fight for Mary Jane and Molly,

Out casting any with a character that resembles the robot Wall.E

Yes that Disney Pixar,

Learn a lesson from those who are living large,

Look around you,

What do you see?

Look around you,

What do you see?

Young men and women living like zombies,

Young men and women who aren’t free,

Imprisoned in an alternate reality,

Unaware of the Secret Society,

That’s the power of The Illuminati!
